We aimed to design a solution that would save time for families as well as other people in their everyday life. What kind of time do people spend at home without it adding value to them? When we wait for deliveries and when we need to do household chores. We started thinking about food deliveries that requires you to be home at a certain time interval. This time period is typically four hours, during which you are not supposed to leave the house. We wanted to free up this time, enabling residents to order food without having to wait at home for it. We also wanted to improve the quality of this way of shopping by making sure the food stays fresh and safe even if we are not there to receive it.

Besides all this, we really wanted to have a collaboration between neighbours so we wanted to make sure to utilise some kind of crowd delivery, and possibly add a social aspect to this concept. For this to appeal to a modern family it is important that this concept and its realisation has a well thought out environmental aspect.
